I'm a native Texan who has lived in Colorado since July 4, 2007. I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and worked at Texas Tech University for over 22 years.
I have three primary loves: God, people, and life! My chosen career of caring for people is directly linked to these three loves. I love helping people and have a natural knack for it. I believe I have been called to use these loves and skills in my work. I've always felt that and, whether working as an administrative assistant, medical office manager, or as a home caregiver, I work hard to put others first, to assist where I can, and to do so with professionalism and discretion.
In my off hours, I become completely enchanted by beautiful words, colors, designs and nature. I love to read, write (especially poetry), and to travel. I also love to crochet and knit, so I usually have a yarn stash bigger than I am hidden all around the house.
My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. From a prior marriage, I have two wonderful grown sons, a delightful daughter-in-law, and a toddler grandson with whom I am completely in love.
